Plastic window factory markings

I know there was a thread on this somewhere, but can't find the right words for search to find it.

Here is the stamp on the lower left of my rear window. Is this the original factory window?

What is the year of your car? Possibly an 89 Camaro?

Re: Plastic window factory markings

My '91 window has a slightly different stamping and is made by kal-Glas with D-91 in the text representing a '91 manufacture date. I have never seen a window stamping like yours but I would expect it is the original (note the 89 in the second line).

Re: Plastic window factory markings

The original owner lived in the semi desert here, he must have kept it garaged.

It's time for a replacement the back window is shot and it cracked in MT last year, rub your hand on the inside of the top and it turns black and all the top bow webbing is gone. Jeez only 22 years.LOL
