Spring ?

Do the 1991 Pontiac convertibles have computer controlled suspension?

Not any that are stock as far as I ever heard. The RPO codes often mention computer "selected" springs for a car.

My RPO shows every wheel with one. What does this mean?

I would assume this is what they are referring to.

It means that the computer selected the springs to install on the car based on the combined weight of all the installed options.

It's interesting that there is an RPO for each corner option, so four RPO codes to define a car. I assume that they are just selecting a spring that has a slightly different installed height and not a different rate. I wonder if they match each side or if, say, the two fronts could be different.

Even though they're matched, LH/RH springs are different parts so it makes sense that they have their own codes.
