spoiler question

I have a question that may be stupid and basic......but anyways! On my vert where the spoiler meets the decklid there is a black strip(small tube like). Not sure if this normal, vert specific, or what? I've looked a lot of camaros but guess I've never noticed. What is the reason for it? Thanks for the help!!
