It's just a convertible from the other vert conversion company, there were two companies making them.

Re: What is This!????

There was more than 2 companies making conversions back in the day... as many if not more than 10 different companies made convertibles.

ASC was the only official conversion company to make 3rd gen convertibles...

Quantities:
ASC - Most by far
Autoform
Matrix 3 (just a guess on 3rd, but that is the one I see most of)

This particular car in the CL ad is an Autoform... Needless to say, this car had 1991-1992 Camaro ground effects, bumpers, 91-92 Z28 Hood... Not sure why they did not get a set of the Tail lights too...

$3800 is not a bad price from what I have seen... might be because of other issues other than the wrong year GFX... looks good in the pix...

It's an IROC-Z22 convertible.

Nope lol sorry, completely went over my head on that one I guess. There is a camaro somewhere around where I live, 4th gen, that has z--82 on the side. It looks factory but I can't find any information on anything z82.

Re: What is This!????

It just looks different. I kind of like it. The back end looks looong for a 3rd gen. It doesnt have the typical vert spoiler and deck lid. Still too much of a frankenstein for me though. Just thought it looked like a good convo peice :-)

It's been converted to a roadster which is why the rear end looks so long. They are a great conversation piece, I've never seen one in person.
