Interesting 85 z28 convertible

I ran into this 85 z28 convertible on craigslist. Car looks fairy clean. But I have never seen a convertible of this model year that was not an autoform conversion. Who do you think did the conversion?

Looks like an 88 or 89 to me.

I think they got the year wrong..

There is an 86 vert in the Car of The Month thread now that looks like a really good conversion.. But this looks like they guesstimated the year IMO..

Or else they bought a nose, hood, taillights, bumper, rockers and front spoiler from an 88-89 base Camaro and/or IROC/z28 and got a two tone paint scheme..

Base model emblems too..

Most likely they got the year wrong on a quick look.
