Vert weatherstrip
Hey guys,
Car is out for paint and top. Looking for weatherstripping. Anyone had any good experiences with online vendors? Prices and quality? Let me know. Thanks

Re: Vert weatherstrip
Very timely post.
Just grabbed a full top set, doors, trunk, and tonneau from an Ebay seller named "Tamraz". He was one of the few people that had the actual Soffseal 6-piece convertible top set available, even Soffseal has it backordered.
Total price shipped for everything was $405. Cheaper than anywhere else I could find, by far.
6-piece top set (header/A pillars, window seals, and rear bow) and door seals were Soffseal.
The trunk and tonneau seals were Metro.
All are great quality.

Re: Vert weatherstrip
Soffseal is a good quality product. I just did mine about a month ago and everything fit very well. Too bad they are back ordered. Hope you can wait. The $405 price is a good one. Mine cost about $500 and I had to order some separate pieces to complete the job. One comment though. The rear bow seal end tab that is screwed to the bow pulled out of the rubber on the right side. I was able to fix it with some alternate hardware but it should not have pulled out and I did not want to wait for a replacement. Mine came from Auto Parts Warehouse if I remember correctly.

Re: Vert weatherstrip
1A Auto has a pretty good amount of convertible products. I don't know the brand for sure, but I think it is Fairchild. The door stripping I bought was from them and I like it a LOT better than SoffSeal. I have SoffSeal on my GTA and I am not the most pleased. Not bad, but the molded ends did not have the plastic reinforcements that the Fairchild product does (like the NOS pieces do) and the Soffseal ends ripped. I prefer Fairchild when NOS is not available or in the budget.
