Rear Bow Alignment - 91 TA Convertible

Having trouble aligning the pin in the #5 bow to the receiver mounted in the tonneau panel. The holding pin enters the hole in the tonneau but does not catch and secure the #5 bow to the panel. I am fairly certain it is either an alignment or a wear issue and I have been trying to adjust the panel alignments to have it catch and hold the pin in the hole with little success. My question is this - should I start by aligning the trunk lid and then move to the tonneau alignment befor aligning the pin to the hole or should I do the opposite - align the pin to the hole, then the tonneau to the trunk lid and then the trunk lid to the body? I have done both but they seem to end up with the pin going into the hole but not catching and holding the convertible top to the body (and, yes, I am not securing the header of the convertible top to the windshield frame to do this.) Any help with this adjustment would be appreciated.

Problem solved! I had to loosen all panels and adjustable release linkage to the release pin and then work from the pin hole in the tonneau back through the trunk lid nuts. It took a while but it all finally lined up for me. That's the fun part of working on old cars.
