Headliner

New to posting here so suggestions welcome.

My 1990 vert “had” a headliner in it. Most of it was gone when I got the car. I purchased the Acme headliner kit from TopsOnline.

I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for, so asking the community for help/pictures of how the rear portion of the headliner is fit around the pivot bolts in order to attach to the B pillar.

Do you just bolt through the side curtain? Cut a circle out of side curtain and if so, how big? Or is the side curtain cut horizontally to the pivot bolt and rounded?

any help, suggestions, or pictures would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Headliner

Are you refering to the bolt just above the headrest in this pic? On the original headliner there is a slit cut across horizontally towards the door glass. I left mine without the slit when i redid my headliner and just cutout a circular portion. I had to remove the bolt though to install it.
