PLEASE HELP OVERHEAT w-A/C

I just got this thing done (TBI- TPI ) 5.0 . Runs great but having bad luck on cooling. Its been 110 here. (Vegas) I have the stock fan and added a 14 fan in front of the condenser. I also today put a trans cooler in front of that aux fan. Just replaced the 180-160 thermostat and coolant sender (gage) the air dam is also on, (what about the cover below the condenser mine is missing ,its about 1 foot by 2 foot cover.) timing is at 4 degrees before (a little detuned) Radiator is about 4 years old doesnt seem to have any cold spots on it and with engine on I see good flow. Now it runs about 230 with a/c off and 250- 260 a/c on . I check the gage to see if it is off. grounded it goes almost flat. I thought of putting duel fans on but I wanted to check here first.

You didn't mention if you loosened the condenser, and cleaned out any debris caught between the condenser and radiator. Also, the trans cooler is preheating the air going into the condenser, which is preheating it even more before it gets to the radiator. I don't know how big your trans cooler is, but it might work better mounted off to the side of the radiator. Do you have an IROC or RS? If you have the RS grille, You might try converting your tpi intake into a Firebird style, and remove your airbox, and then open up the grille to make it functional.
