Foglight switch = manual fan switch??
Removed my foglights for better aitflow; wondering if I can splice in the the wiring that used to go to the foglights to the 2nd fan relay to use as a manual switch (driver/ ac fan).
How to do? Just splice in the (+) lead from one of the foglights into the wire from the ac pressure/ temp sensor??

i would just find a toggle switch to use, the foglight switch is very complicated to use to many different connections on it..
i ran my two wires through the fender and behind the doory hinges under the kickpanel and put the switch somewhere on my switch panel with the other switches...

to get the fans to come on, u have to ground the relay coil.. it already is supplied with +12 volts, it jsut needs to be grounded to complete the circuit to cut the fans on.. so u would probably have to do some wiring.

I have a manual switch
I changed fans and when i did that, I connected the black wire to ground. Then i just took the blue wire (from the fan) and connected it to the off switch toggle. Then I connected from the on switch toggle to the battery. I just used regular electric wire and splicers.
Makeshift graphic:
---denotes wire
FANBlack-------Ground
FANBlue---wire 1 thru firewall----Switch on Radio faceplate---wire 2 back thru firewall to pos battery .
So, in essence, for the power wire, just think of it as one single wire going from battery to fan with a switch between them.
Just remember to turn the switch on every time you start the car. *** knows i forget sometimes.
Any questions email me

P.s. Just bought a new radiator and I still get to 240. i am using a big block fan. Do you think i should fab a shroud for it?
