electric fans
well either fan should come on right away unless someone has been messing around with wiring..
the fan relays on my car were on the drivers side firewall, to the right in the master cylinder..
the diagram should help alot..

Ok so if i put those swithes in
1-i could control when i want them to come on, but only if the ignition is on?
2-the computer will also ground them when it is susposed too even if I have the switch grounded or not?
So all this really does is ground the relays in another spot just like the computer does?

You can check if the relays are good by taking an ohm meter and test the ohms between terminals D and F of the coil > than 50 good < 50 best to replace. Then you will know if they are bad before you replace them. If they are good then you can look elsewhere for the problem instead of a wasted trip to the parts store. Hope this helps John
