Prestone Super Anti Rust

Has anyone used Prestone super anti rust ? my TA doesn't move that much so I decided to add some of this to the cooling system to help protect against corrosion. Prior to adding antifreeze was a nice green, no rust and protection to -35 degrees.

I added this anti-rust and it made the antifreeze a cloudy brown. Does anybody know if this will turn back to the nice green again ? Or did I screw up and should flush my system.

any advice ?
Thanks

I never heard of that happening before. What color was the antirust stuff before you added it? How old was the antifreeze in your car? This wasn't some additive for use with the orange, long life antifreeze, was it?

If I saw that happen, I'd flush the system to be on the safe side. If the color becomes green again, I think it would be because the brown stuff settled out everywhere. You can see if the brown stuff consists of particles which can settle out by making a funnel out of some porous paper like newspaper. Put some of the brown antifreeze into the funnel then let it seep out. Compare the color after it comes out, and look inside the funnel for brown particles or "mud". If it's there, flush the system.
