I noticed the other day that the fuel lines where really warm to close to hot in my TBI 305.The fuel lines run on the fender wheel wheels right next to the exhaust manifolds and then up buy the radiator and come back in the middle between the manifold and valve cover then to the Throttle body and was wondering if anybody has changed that o wrapped that thermo-Shiled tape on it i was plaining on doing that but the decide why no reroute them to come up at an angle from the fender wheel well to the Throttle Body with it not touching the manifold or valve covers it should get the gas alot cooler.

i say reroute them and cover them. colder denser fuel means more power. it wouldnt hurt to do both. but definitely do one or the other. you dont want any unexpected bursts of flames.
