thermostats

just bought my first 3rd gen, a 1992 rs with the lo 305. it seems to run a little warm. can i use a 160 degree thermostat? also, no seems to make an aftermarget air intake for the tbi,any ideas on custom made air intakes? thanks for the help:confused:

i would run a 180 thermostat.

170 at the lowest..

when does it run warm?

on the highway could be caused by the air dam, and in the traffic it could be caused my the fan(s) not coming on..

Since this is your first 3rd gen, are you aware that these cars run warm from the factory. The secondary fan on a TPI car is set to come on at around 225*. Maybe your car is not running warm, just warmer than you are used to seeing.
