Cooling Fan help please

Ok, so I saw a post answering this question a LONG time ago, and tried the search but can't find it. So bear with me on this. My cooling fan doesn't kick on anymore. I replaced the relay and the sensor and still nothing. I know the fan works cause it kicks on when I turn the AC on. I am hoping that it is a simple wiring problem... any help is greatly appreciated....

sounds like you have a break in the wire from the relay to the fan switch(you did replace the one in the pass side head between #6 & #8 exhaust ports, right?)

i have the same problem, i havent put a new sensor in yet, but i hope that is all it will need. will a thermal sensor from jegs or summit work, i'm using a 180degree thermostat and i want the fan to turn on around 170 or so

i read the two stickies at the top, it seems that the problem could be a number of things. I will do more research under the hood, and post my results.

yeah common problems are the coolant temp sensor and the fan switch.

my fan switch was burnt up and thats why my fan was always on when i started the car.. it took me a few minutes to test and narrow it down when i tested the other components in that circuit.
