Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK guys.....have a problem here I changed my waterpump and flushed my system with my dad just using a garden hose keeping the water flowing in the system. Problem is it is overflowing into the overflow tank really bad and all the hoses are tight with no leaks. Plus when the car is shut off you can here is making a girgling noise going back into the overflow tank. COuld i have the wrong style rotation? I went to an auto parts store and this is the pump the guy gave me. Could my t-stat be bad?? Any help will do thanks.

well, if its a TPI and has a serpantine belt system then it probably a reverse rotation system, just make sure you got a pump that's for your car. it could be as simple as having a bad radiator cap, they are set at a certain pressure and when they go bad they relieve pressure all the time. thats the cheapest to replace they're only about $5.00 or so, while your at the store check on the pump and make sure they gave you the right one, they probably did.

Thermostat's are cheap, replace when you change the fluid. Caps are fairly cheap, test/replace when you change the fluid. Sounds like it getting hot, for whatever reason. What is the temp?
