my plug going to the cts broke and the fan was always on because of no contact but because of this it started really ****ty so i changed the plug and now it overheats it is a new cts and i really need help were there two different kinds of CTS because i saw a chart on here that said high temp would = low resistance but with the conector off that was infinite resistance witch turned the fan on maby someone put the wrong version cts in my car and thats why it is doing this. 1986 IROC-Z 305ci
help
is this chart correct because when my dash gauge reads 220 i have only 587 ohms of resistance so i think this could be the problem but is this chart for all years, engine size, model, etc...
