Wiring Dual Fans
Wiring Dual Fans
My Dual fans run at all times....and that's one of the big reasons my voltage is terrible. After numerous different attempts (they used to both be wired directly to the alternator), now my buddy somehow wired them directly to the fusebox. They're wired to a connector that hooks right up into the fuse box and they turn on whenever the ignition, or the car is on. We tried to do the radiator method where it turns on at a certain temp but it didn't turn on. any idea's how i can wire them back up to as stock as possible? Thanks

MD is correct, you run them off the fuse box and you are going to have real problems such as the ign switch melting etc. If you can't do it yourself take it to a dealer. Unless the harness has been damaged it should take any decent technician less than 1 hr labor to straighten out the wiring for you.

www.the12volt.com explains how relays work. It gets complicated but remember.. you need a trigger(12v that trips the relay) a GND.. simple enough.. 12volts in (usually from bat. with a fuse near bat) and a output (12volt out to fan)
