Coolant tank

The last time i went and worked on my engine i notices the recovery tank was to the full hot but teh engine had been off for hours. i have notice this a few other times. the fluid will never to back into the radiator.

As long as the radiator is full and you have no reason to suspect a problem don't worry about it. It is just filled a little to much...

No the radiator was half way empty

It will eventually empty back to the rad usually after sitting overnight. If not suspect a leak or a bad cap.
