HAVE YOU CHANGED THE RADIATOR? MY 91 Z28 WAS ALWAYS RUNNING CLOSE TO 240F AROUND TOWN. i CHANGED THE PLUGS, WIRES, THERMOSTAT(TWICE), SENSORS, CHECKED MY TIMING & FLUSHED THE RADIATOR. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A BE COOL CUSTOM FIT RADIATOR, ALL ALUMINIM DUAL 1 INCH CORE AND KEPT MY OEM ELECTRIC FANS. BOY, MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!! I NOW RUN AT 180F. IT'S EXPENSIVE BUT, TO ME, WELL WORTH IT FOR THE LOWER TEMPS.

Z06 is right. I went to a 2-fan set-up, and a custom-fit Be-Cool rad., and now I can finally run a 180 stat. It's the ONLY thing that fixed the problem.

Yeah, you should upgrade to the dual fan setup..and get a high flow raidator...That'll get you down..the water pump would be good too...get a decent aftermarket one...other than that and the hood...there's not much else you could do...what kind of intake do you have on it...maby a cai would help..and some well placed heat pads..
