please help radiator

please help radiator

ok im changing from a v-6 manual to a v-8 auto i know there are lines that go to the radator from the auto trans mission now what should i do for a radiator for better cooling. should i get a raidator from a camaro auto trans v-8 or can i just get anny old raidator that will fit in there that is ment for a v-8 (extra info if it helps it's a 305 and it is mecanical fan not electric)

Couple of options, use a separate trans cooler which lot's of guy's prefer or get a replacement for an auto trans. To be honest, I just put a rad in my one daughters Z-34 Lumina and with the exception if the different filler neck it appears to be identical to the one in my IROC. A stock V-8 rad online for a 350 auto cost's less than $150 for the GM unit. Up to you.

i know that most people would do it but is it going to keep it cooler or would it be no differant than using a different raidator im looking for what will keep it the coolest because there will be 450hp coupled to it
