temp. sensor ????????

Transmission: 700r-4 shift kit
temp. sensor ????????

alright i just did a rebuild on my motor and i cant remember which plug goes to the temp. sensor could someone post a picture of what its supposed to look like. also is the temp. sensor related to turning the fan on and off?

The replacement sensor has a spade lug connector. The temp sensor on the drivers side is for the temp guage. The fan switch, which is on the passenger's side, turns the fan on and off.

There is a few temp sensors. One on the intake and one on the passenger side head. Here is a pic of mine that is broken but still attached. It is the coolant temp fan switch.
