radiator exploded

Tonight my radiator plug thing exploded and shot fluid all over the engine. Is this gonna effect anything after i fix it?

what thing? how did it Explode? why did it explode? how are you going to fix it? what damage was done?

The bypass plug blew apart and shot coolant everywhere, so i replaced it and everything is fine. For now....

might make some parts a lil rusty, but it doign any damage is very unlikely... i spill antifreeze all over.
