Need help locating the pigtail for the fanswitch where can i buy one?

Mine was all brittle and the whole thing broke off! still have the wire and it works when I ground it and I bought a new switch so any idea where to buy the connector that plugs into the fan switch!

Please help!

I chopped off a few of them at the salvage yard...

You can still get them from your dealer. He might even have one in stock. It's a common cap, used on the knock sensor, fan switch, and another sensor(don't remember which). It's around $15.

You can probably find it at an AC Delco retailer, if you have one nearby.

I've even found it at Pep Boys too for much less than $15. But don't rely on anyone to help you. You'll just have to go through everything hanging on the counter to find it--and it probably won't say it's for the fan switch. I don't remember what it said it was for, but was easy to see that it was the same cap that I needed.

My fan switch cap was very brittle and broke up too. I haven't replaced the cap yet, but the sensor "probe" still plugs into the sensor, so that's how I've got it for now. It never comes on anyway since it's my secondary fan, so I'll likely just run the wire from the new cap into the car to a manual switch.
