Temp gauge help...
OK, so when i got the car about a year ago, it was at 220 or past it, its been liek that since, so i just dropped in the new motor and i want to know what the temp of it is for obvious reasons, i dont have any wiring for this so how can i make this happen....help me out ppl...

Do you mean its been stuck that way and hasn't moved? This is a shot in the dark, but if you ground the temp sending unit wire, it should move the gauge, otherwise, I've heard of the gauges getting stuck and stuff, and its been fixed by going into the gauge and pushing the needle back.

Stuck all the way off the charts so to say, no movement, but i think i need to run new wiring to it so it can read the temp, but i cant seem to fugure out where the sensor for the engine temp / coolant temp is, i know its on one of the heads....

The temp sending unit is on the driver's side head between the #1 and #3 cylinders. It should have a single green wire going into it.
