did i do this right?

i just tore out my a/c, the guy i bought it from said it hasnt worked for the past ten years. those pieces i took out were connected so i guessed both had to come out so i ripped them both out. as with the part in front of the radiator i took that out awhile ago after the rad was out. now my question is what does the ac delete box do. does it only plug the holes or what? ive heard alot of people say they dont have all fan speeds when they took out their ac, is there any way i can avoid this? what does the delete box look like? pics maybe? or should i just weld a piece of metal over the holes and make it look good? and how much do the delete boxes cost brand new? i think thats all, any help will be appreciated.

Keep your a/c relay and you can fit the a/c ressistor in the a/c delete box...you`ll still have a four speed fan then. I paid 75 on ebay for the box, came with everything I needed. After a little clean up and some paint, still need to harness those wires though

Try contacting Tom at www.houseofcamaro.com or Dave at IROCZDAVE(I don't have the site name, so you'll need to search). They both sell good used parts.
