Manual fan switch hookup

I want to hook up a manual fan switch for my 305TPI. My question is...how exactly do you do this...(easiest way i mean) and would you recommend hooking up just one fan or both of them to the switch (i have the dual fan setup). Thanks.

i recommend one and i like to mess with the passengers side.

anyway this is the easiest and safest, find that fan relay and then you want to splice into the wire that goes to the fan switch.

after that run the wire into the car, and then hook it up to a terminal of a standard toggle switch or push button switch. then the other terminal goes to a body ground, i picked the strut tower area so i ran another wire from inside the car to the outside.

the relay is in the top right corner near the brake booster.

just having that one passengers fan on at the track keeps the engine pretty cool.

is this procedure the same for a single fan setup?
