Heater core...

I bought a new heater core less than a year ago and have driven the car only 4k miles since and the dam thing is leaking again. I work part time at Checker so thats where I bought it. I am sure its under warranty. Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations as to what brand to get? Should I go with OEM? Which brands should I avoid other than Checker? I may just take it out and not bother with it. It doesnt get too cold here in the winters and the cabin gets warm enough with the engine heat. I live two minutes from work. Once the sun comes up the window frost melts quickly. Any suggestions?

I got mine from pepboys its ben in my car about 4 years now and no leaks. If you get one there make sure its the right one After i pulled my car apart and went to compare the old to the new they sold me the wrong one. SInce my camaro was my daily driver i was screwed. Once i found a ride there the manager wouldnt return the old one because it has been opend. I finaly returned it at a different store but pepboys suck as far as service.
