I need your opinions on my cooling options. I'm either thinking about a Jeg Fan Switch, or a Jegs Stage 2 chip with a 160 degree thermostat. What do u think would be the better set-up to put in?

go with a low temp stat, and maybe a lower temp on/off fan switch.

 

I thought abou tjust the low temp one alone but then was reading about it and read that 160 is too low to be ran by itself on mainly stock engines. The only modifications I'm plannin on doin is Ram air hood with airbox, headers, flowmaster exhaust(already on). Is this enough to but a 160 on?

 

well to tell u the truth i like my 180 stat, but if i did it again i would do a 170 stat maybe.

i wounlnt go with a pre-made chip, run a search to see what people think of premade chips, most like the custom route.

anyway see what just a low stat does for u and work from there.
