Dual Fans

Hate to beat a dead horse, but...I have a 92 Z28/305 TPI with dual fans. The drivers side comes on when the temp gets up (240 or so), the drivers side also comes on when the A/C comes on. The passenger side comes on when I grounded the temp switch on the passanger side of the block. I read some of the posts and I bought the 87 buick grand national switch that others are using. The fan never came on even when the temp guage was approaching the red line. The passenger side fan also comes on when I grounded out the A/C pressure switch. So, what am I missing? I guess the fan switch could be bad that I just bought. Should I just purchase the jet fan switch? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Scott.

sounds like the relays are working.

check out this thread about fan switches https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...74#post2018774

and somehow make sure that your coolant temp sensor is reading what your temp guage shows in the car.

the drivers side should come on around 227 and the stock fan swithc turn on temp for the passengers side is like 237 or something like that.
