Possesed Fan?
Not sure what's going on here. At first the fan didn't work at all now it does, with a twist:
After repairing a broken connector for the coolant switch and repairing some wiring all seemed well. My wife normally drives the car around duriing the week as it is not a sensable commuter.
Today, I had to drive it in to work (about a 35 miinute trip). First half of the trip, the fan seemed to funtioning, then when I got half way throught the trip it quit. I'm praying to the heavens as the overflow was boiling pretty severely. Went out to check on it later and It's not locked up thankfully. And the fan came right on. Any ideas out there??
I'm going to run the fan from the battery so I can get home without murdering the car I've been waiting 7 years to have agani.

Got home ok with 'minimal' damage form the morning, looks liike HG replacement is in order (exhaust in radiator)
Still curiious as to why the fan system appears to be workiing in reverse order? Runs when cool, shuts off at operatiing temp.
I AM DEFINATELY replacing the whole cooling fan system for the reliablilty sake. I read ******* stuff and it does point out some good tips (thank you Willie):hail:
In my rebuild I'm thinking of switchiing from the single fan setup to a dual, with the primary ran by the temp switch and the secondary on a manual in the car, anybody try this? Works Well?
I'm thinking of the 180* stat and adjustable fan switch for the primary?
