Coolant Sensor

Hi...Just changed my radiator fluid and when my engine just started to get warm, it would die. It was a bad coolant sensor. Replaced it and everything works good. Many people told me that it was the fuel pump and or filter, just the sensor. I'm just letting you know to try the little things first, then go to the expensive stuff. I've been working with computers for 15 years and most of the time it was the "little things" that fixed the problem.

Did you get an SES light? Usually the CTS won't stop the engine. I recently did major work on my 89 rock and inadvertently broke the old CTS when trying to get it out to mount in the new intake manifold. I plugged it temporarily until I got a new one and it ran rather well considering it was in probably limp mode.

Yeah it was weird...but all i did was drain the radiator and fill it back up. Yes i did get the SES light before and maybe the "new" water/coolant did it in!!!
