Rust In The System

I have searched long in the chats here and haven't found what I'm looking for. So forgive me if this is mentioned somewhere....What is a good home way to get rid of rust in the system? The car sat for a long time. The rad. is not even a year old, but the rest of the system must have tons of rust in it. I have flushed it many times and still getting rust. Is there a cheap way to add something and flush it and do it repeatedly if required?

My friend had the same thing happing on he's 88 RS. He flushed it afew times and still the coolant had lots of rust in it. By sure luck he's heater core went out. While changeing it out he noticed abunch of rust/dirt cake in the bottom of it. He put in a new heater core flushed it again and was good to go. Might be your prob and maybe not, but thought I share it.

Conrad
