Digital coolant gauge

hey has anyone had any experiance with CSR's digital coolant gauge? it's supposed to be able to switch on fans and or electric water pumps at any temperature you set it to and comes with all sending units and wiring harness's neccessary.
my situation is this:
my thermal switch on the Pass. side is busted so i have to run my fans all the time via my manual switch.
in addition my coolant temp sensor and or the gauge itself is messed up it stops at 160 and then jumps to 220 at which point my coolant is boiling over indictating a slightly higher temp.
it seems this guage would solve all my problems nicely, new gauge saves me time trying to find the issue with the old one and also grants me controll over my fan.

seem right?

I don't have a CSR gauge, however, my Intellitronix can do the same thing. Basically, when my needle htis 215°-ish, the auxillary power wire powers the fan, via a relay. I'm not sure about the CSR, but my Intel. can only do up to 2 amps before a relay is required, which really is no big deal. I have the sender for that in the intake. Been through several heating cycles and works fine.

Ease and expense depends a lot on what's broke, though.
