when i got the car (86 Z28) i noticed that the fan motor ran when the ign. was on (and i know thats not right) but the fan was sagging so the motor couldnt turn and was smokin so i got a aftermarket fan hooked it up and let the car run, it got up to 240 before i shut it off now i think my car has the fan switch (on the head) and the ect sensor (on the t-stat housing) i know that the ect sensor has like 2 wires going to it and one of the wires is ate through. now i put a test light on the relay there was i think 5 wires coming out (not sure) and only 1 was hot is this normal
my car doesnt have a/c if that helps im just wondering why my fan wont kick on and yea i looked around and didnt find out what i was looking for
