**Removing /Rerouting Cooling hoses - help/advice

Starting next weekend, im planning on doing a good cleanup on my engine bay, removing some unnecessary things and hoses.. painting a few things and polishing valve covers, plenums, etc

i seem to have a LOT of coolant hoses on teh passanger side of the motor, covering most of the valve cover, .. i have some new steel braided hoses that i want to put on, not the fake crap i have ont here now,a nd was wondering, WHICH HOSES can i remove...

-i dont need to use heat on the car, as its only a spring/summer driver, so i have been told i can bypass and eliminate the hoses going to the heater core..

there is also a black box that seems to function as some sort of rerouting center for some coolant, and a few plastic black exhange centers..

my question is basically, can anyone that has done it before, or really knows cooling flow , tell me which hoses i can remove, or reroute so i can have minimal hoses above my valve cover, and a cleaner look..

pictures attached, i hope

For all the extra hoses I think when it comes down to it,I see no reason why you can't just take all that crap out and just run the heater hoses the way chevy small blocks have been doing it for 50 years. From the water pump output straight to the heater core, and from the heater core output straight back to the radiator.Simple and has worked forever.

yea, the setup you described is what i'm aiming at

i'm just unsure of the flow in some of hte lines,a nd if i reroute them, i dont want to make the flow backwards, or reversed by accident...
