removing a/c and heater core
ok my car is a 84 V6 and im putting a 350 in and i want all of the heating/cooling parts out
what do i need to do to remove all the a/c lines and pump?
and for the heater core i read the other posts so i guess ill figure it out
is there anything im forgetting?

If you are asking what to do to get it out, you just have to get the system flushed. Then start unbolting everyhting and presto. The heater core is a little more difficult though. You have to remove the dash to get to the top bolt. Then just tie back the wiring in case you or the person you may sell the car to wants it back.

also, you can either buy an a/c delete pulley or leave the compressor on. I just haven't gotten to buying the pulley yet. It has less drag than the compressor.

Why remove the heater core? (I'm curious) It doesn't weigh enough to justify it - just remove the hoses if not using it - plus the core will plug the holes and keep mice, bugs, etc. from invading the interior.
