draining radiator

Axle/Gears: 323 std
draining radiator

i cant seem to get the plug off anyone have any useful tips

Axle/Gears: 3.23...i dunno...
disconnect the lower radiator hose from the water pump...that's what i did...it is a bit messy though...but i've heard it can be quite messy draining it from the plug as well...

with the pliars should i come from the top or the botom

When I first did a coolant change on my Camaro (when it still had a factory radiator), I did it from the bottom with the car on jackstands.
