manual fan switch

manual fan switch

does anyone make a manual fan switch for 3rd gens? i have seen them for 4th gens (like Slp makes one) but none for 3rd gens.

I used a fog light switch from a TransAm for a manual fan switch. Get one at the junk yard that matches what you have in your dash. I mounted it in the middle of the dash under the temperature gage. There were plugs there already for extra switches, just replace one with the new switch. I was mounting a second fan, manually controlled. Wired from the fuse panel, switch activated hot to the new fog light switch, out of the switch to a relay located by the radiator. (splice into the output wire on the switch and loop back into the switch to make the light on the switch turn on when the fan is on). Looks like factory installed.

i just wired mine to both come on when the engine is on. that way you don't ever forget to turn them on. my car runs at 180 all the time.
