best sensor for a 355

Axle/Gears: 9inch 3.50 gear
best sensor for a 355

I've got a mild built 355 and my gauge is reading that my temp is around 220to 260 but if it was that hot then coolet would be every where, whats the best sensor to use and where is the best place to put it???????????

Axle/Gears: 3.08 9 bolt
stock replacement sensor, in stock location. Its your gauge itself, get an external for piece of mind.

I put an external in but after driving for like 10 to 20 min its at like 210 degrees is there any way to get it cooled down to around 180? Thx

lower thermostat, fans on sooner.
