unknown sensors?

ive had to order a new water thermostat neck but theres two holes were sensor's go into and i have no idea what they are called to order them new. One is a temp sensor for somthin and something with two pipes which connects to the engine emissions if someone can help.

1983 Trans AM 5.0Litre V8 Carb

ADDED NOTE : IS IT ME OR DO OTHER PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM HATE.. AND I MEAN HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE CANT SPENT $2 ON A GASKET SO THEY USE SEALENT WHICH COST MORE TO FIX A SIMPLE PROBLEM AND CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS IN THE LONG RUN - BOUGHT MY CAR OVER 3 MONTHS AGO AND STILL CANT DRIVE IT AS WAITING FOR $4 PART?? DOES THAT SEEM RIGHT?

I used to own an 83 carbed SE, and I do remember that thermostat housing. I will have to look around to see what they all go to...But if you have the underhood vacuum hose routing, it should tell you where that myriad of hoses go to. Personally, I just removed all that, installed a vacuum advance distributor, and a regular old quadrajet. That enabled me to get rid of the computer control.
If you do not have visual emissions inspections, then you should be fine. With it properly tuned, it should still pass emissions without a problem.

One is the coolant temp sensor for the computer, if it has a plug with one yellow and one black wire; the other is the thermal vacuum switch for the EFE.
