Radiator shop stupidity. and what aftermarket fans to use?
let me start off with what happend. my radiator cracked on the plastic so i got a new rad, i work at a radiator shop and was gunna do it my self but due to lack of time i payed some one to do it, now that i think of it i ended up paying 30$ for labor wich isnt bad but for what they did....it was just stupid. after i got it fixed i drove about 3 hours south to the 3rd gen fest in crete illinois.t about 50 miles from my house i heard a weird sound like a electric motor trying to spin but just burning out then a snapping sound, popped the hood and didnt see a problem. on the way home i stopped at a gas station and was gunna check the trans fluid as it was running just one of the fans turned on so i looked at the other one
THEY RAN THE FAN WIRES THROUGH THE BLADES! it didnt cut the wires but it broke 2 mounting spots and the loose fan moved around so much it caused damange to my new radiator. so then i get to work at tell them what i saw and they say " what did you do" to me!
so now i a new friggen fan! i was thinking since im not paying for it what are some good aftermarket fans? and should i go as large as i can fit on the radiator?

Go to summit and check for electric fans. Look for good CFM ratings (anything over 2100 is good for your car). Look for aluminum fans (they usually have better CFM ratings and are waaay more durable). Also make sure you look at the AMP draw (15 or lower is good). You will find yourself a fan that will keep you cool in 180 degree weather.
you can thank me later.
