Need some help

OK, so its another my fans arent working thread. I searched and wasnt quite sure still, so heres my story.

New built 350 with 180 stat and I put in a fan temp sensor in the pass side head from advance auto. I dont know the temp it was rated for, but essentially the primary fan ran all the time with it.

I had some issues and the fan temp sensor on the pass side got melted along with the plug, so I replaced them both with pieces from tpiparts.net and the new sensor is rated at 185.

Anyway, I cant get the fans to turn on at all now. They did turn on briefly but that was only once or twice and now they wont turn on at all. Not in diagnostic mode with the car off (which I believe they are supposed to turn on) not with the A/C turned on... nothing.

So, my question is... could this be relay related or is there a fuse somewhere that could be blown that is keeping them from turning on?

Like I said, before the sensor and plug got melted, the fans were working fine, so I dunno.

Any guidance here would be much appreciated.

When should the fans be on?

If the ECM is in diagnostic mode, my understanding is they are supposed to be running?

And with the A/C on they should both be running....

So, if I am not getting anything and I know the Fans Work, where should I be starting? Could it be the fusable link? Relay?

I am pretty new to this stuff, so Im not really sure where to start. I have replaced the fan temp switch in the pass. head, and things still arent working.

comon guys!! I need some guidance here!

I just need someone to point me in the right direction as to whether it could be be the fusable link, relay or what.
