New LSx fans...

hi, i have replaced my old single fan on my 85 irocz with a dual fan set up from and LSx. the problem im seeing is that they seem to be sucking alot of energy. enough that i can see a dip on my voltage guage. so im wondering if that is normal or if there are other problems?

thanks

My only way of thinking is 2 fans instead of 1 is going to use more amps usually unless they are very efficient aftermarket fans so you might see some dip. Are you treminals clean everything tight etc..

check this out and seee if it helps at all.

everything I have been reading on google for the lsx family says about a 40 amp fuse so far. It also describes how you have it wired and what gauge to use.

I'm guessing that you have it wired up so both fans start simultaneously. That's a lot of current draw. Dual fan setups should have each fan controlled to start at different temperatures/conditions. That way you should never have both try to start at the same time.
