Heater not working after TPI swap

Working out the last bugs on my TPI swap and I find that I now have no heater function. No fan, no flapper door action, nothing. I don't have a/c on the car and I only swapped the engine harness for the TPI. Where should I look first to fix this? It is plugged in and everything is where it's supposed to be but still no heater. I haven't had a chance to really diagnose it as I've been busy working out the TPI bugs, just thought I'd see if anyone here could help make this fix a bit quicker.

A bit more info just in case, I'm still using the single fan that originally came on the car for now and have kept the secondary fan wiring intact just tucked out of the way. I plan to install dual fans later.

Let me clarify what's happening (or not as the case may be). I swapped a complete TPI engine harness from a '91 TPI Firebird into the car and to my knowledge neither me or the help messed with the wiring for the heater ( I have done the a/c delete previously and it worked fine before this). Now, I also did the heater valve delete at this time and cut the vacuum line for the valve back and capped it off. I also have the other vacuum line for the control panel connected as it should be. When I had the car running yesterday for troubleshooting I tried the controls and got absolutely nothing. No fan coming on, no flapper door opening or anything. I haven't checked the fuses yet as I've been concentrating on the engine. Is there a significant difference in the connections for the heater from TBI to TPI? I didn't think there was. I also have a black connector that isn't connected to anything just hanging from the TPI harness. It has four wires (red, black, green and I think blue) There is also another connector that is also black but it only has three wires (red, black and green from the car original) but the connectors don't seem to match. Is this the missing link? Would I need to splice them together or is it something else?
