Cooling hose routing

I am installing a short water pump on a 1990 Chevy 350 with TPI. It previously did not have the heater hooked up and I was needing to know where to route the hoses from? I think it is from intake to the throttle body to the heater core to the port on the top or side of the water pump?? Am I wrong with this routing?? Any idea on where to find info on this routing??
