Radiator flush help
Ok, on the passenger side of the radiator, i see the silver thing that looks like the tip of the flathead screwdriver. What do i do with this? Or is it better to unplug the lower hose and have it make a big mess...? Haynes manual isnt telling me anything.

There is a little plastic plug on the bottom left of the radiator when your looking at the car. It has two platics parts that stick out for easy hand access. Loosen and coolant will begin to come out. Don't try to take it all the way off it's not supposed to.

the silver thing is a temp sensor of some kind in the tank of these radiators, im not sure what it is used for ive never seen anything connected ot it, just ignore that
the drain plug is down lower on the tank than that and is the same black plastic as the tank
good luck

Ill keep that in mind next time. We went ahead and just pulled the lower hose off . But the only thing by that that i managed to see was the metal wires.
