Summit has a/c delete pulleys, but you dont really need one. You can remove the bracket entirely and use a shourter belt, it will clean up that side of the engine imensly. Even better, you can get a different power steering pump mounting bracket that uses less than 10 adjustment bolts (how many does it really need???) and mounts without the use of the old compressor bracket. Here are some P/Ns for ya:

March Power Steering bracket kit: MCH-20161-09 ($80) for saginaw pumps

March Power steering bracket kit: MCH-20165 ($100) for later model pumps

Either will work, but the former will take a bit more work to adapt. You will also need a shorter belt, Ill dig the proper length out for you this afternoon. Hope this helps,

if he is carb 305 then he wont need any of that stuff,

he will need a/c delete wiring harness, entire dash and heater control panel assembly, and all the boxes including the fresh air kick panel vent boxes and so on

donor car to do it right

no one does it right though
good luck

Yeah Jeff again with the 83 z I have a differnt engine in already so the pulleys are gone already but I still have the A/C stuff on the fire wall I want to take out but I dont want a ugly hole. Is there anyplace that makes a a/c delete filler pannel?

Thanks

If you want to be able to use your heater get a heater box from a NON/AC car,It takes up a lot less space than the big A/C unit on the firewall.
If you are going to just cover the hole in the fire wall you might as well pull all the duct work and the heater core out from under the dash, because its no good without a blower motor and it will save you some weight also.

How hard is it to dismantle the entire A/C system and what are all the parts I need to take off (pics would help)? I'm interested in this myself in the future.
