heater hose help, where do they go?

heater hose help, where do they go?

Hopefully some of you can help me out i am repeiceing my 89 trans am 5.7 tpi together and need some diagrams or pics of the way the heater hoses go?
does coolant run through the throttle body?
do i need the pvc valve?
i have a replacement water pump without a line for heater hoses
will i have to get ride of any hoses or reroute them?

all help is appreciated

There is a tech article on the home page about bypassing the throttle body coolant line. Yes, you DO need a PCV valve. Hook it up to a good vacumn source and run it to the top of the valve cover.Heater hoses: Run one hose from the radiator outlet located on the left tank on the radiator(should have a fitting) to one side of the heater core. Run the other hose from the other heater core outlet to the fitting located on the front of the engine behind the water pump. It comes out of the intake manifold. Thats it. Left tank looking at radiator from front of car.Actually right tank! My bad.
