radiator corrosion
What is the best way to get corrosion out of the radiator, I really dont want to replace it. Also i pulled off the top main hose on the intake manafold and it has alot around the sides. Do i need to tear apart the whole engine and clean it out. Dont really want to. Can some one give me some advice?

Re: radiator corrosion
Take the radiator to a radiator shop and have them boil it out and pressure check it. If they are any good, they will be able to tell you if it is any good. When the radiator is out and in the shop, remove the thermostat and you can flush everything out. This sounds like a good time to replace your hoses along with a new thermostat and possibly water pump. It`s all easy work, just make sure to drain your anti freeze into containers and recycle, don`t pour it in the gutter or down the drain. Also check your belt/belts.
